In short, a Readability Test is a method used to try and ensure that a particular demographic group of people is able to understand and act upon information given to them. Bridging Studies allow you to minimise the number of Readability User Tests that you need to carry out by harmonising the "Daughter" Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) to a "Parent" Patient Information Leaflet (PIL). What are Focus Tests?
Focus Testing is in effect an extension of a Bridging Study. A Focus Test can take place where similarity between Patient Information Leaflets (PILs) exists but there are still some differences that need to be tested. In effect, a mini Readability Test.
